The Friends of the Library meet on the second Thursday of each month (except December and January) at 5.00pm in the Thames Library, 503 Mackay Street.
The objective of the group is to support the Library in providing the widest possible services to the community.
Entertaining and educational talks are provided at each meeting by interesting speakers.
The Friends of the Library also deliver the books to the users of our Housebound Service to people who are unable to visit the Library due to illness or infirmity.
The annual subscription is $10.00 per person or a gold coin for casual attendances.
